Projects: Rona in Vaudreuil-Dorion

Each of the stand-alone (off-grid) Solar lighting systems featured a high performance 205 Wp Kyocera polycrystalline solar module, 15 A Morningstar MPPT charge controller with timing features, 315 Ah 12V DEKA Solar AGM battery bank and NEMA4X insulated battery enclosure.  Matrix engineers programmed the charge controllers to suit the client’s lighting hours of operation, and also provided pre-assembly services for the battery enclosures.  Each pole mounted Solar system powers an LED fixture, manufactured by Elumen Lighting Networks, for parking lot lighting.  PV powered LED lighting systems are gaining in popularity worldwide, thanks to recent equipment cost reductions, increases in PV panel and LED lighting efficiencies, as well as the relatively high cost of providing grid service to new lighting poles.
