These inverters have all the usual Aurora benefits, including dual input section to process two strings with independent MPPT, high speed and precise MPPT algorithm for real-time power tracking and energy harvesting, as well as transformerless operation for high performance efficiencies of up to 97%. The wide input voltage range makes the inverter suitable to low power installations with reduced string size. This outdoor inverter has been designed as a completely sealed unit to withstand the harshest environmental conditions. The high frequency isolated topology allows the 10 kWp unit to be lightweight and compact in size to help with transportation and installation. This inverter is free of electrolytic capacitors, leading to a longer product lifetime. Compatible with PVI-Radiomodule (# 08-90-076) for wireless communication with Aurora PVI-Desktop (# 08-90-074).

PVI Aurora Central InverterThese extremely scalable modular inverter systems, based on 55 kW conversion modules, increase usable power and improve availability. The reduction of performance in any individual inverter will not impact the energy-harvesting capabilities of other modules. The product is available with and without an isolation transformer. Industry-leading power conversion efficiencies of up to 98% (-TL), combined with high-speed Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) channels, optimize energy harvesting across a wide array of operating conditions. Inverter systems are delivered pre-configured and pre-tested in rugged enclosures, significantly reducing on-site wiring and testing. In case of ungrounded application the unit can be configured as single or multiple MPPT (with exception of PVI-Central-50 & PVI-55.0/-TL).

Aurora PVI Desktop Wireless Remote

Aurora Desktop
Power-One’s Desktop product allows inverter owners to monitor performance from anywhere within 300 metres of the units. It features a touch screen colour TFT display and can be either wireless or connected. The Desktop system can also be linked via Bluetooth or USB to a personal computer and the Internet. You can watch energy using the Desktop monitoring system. Wireless communication requires one radio transceiver (# 08-90-076) for each inverter.

Aurora Easy Control PVI-AEC-EVOThe new Easy Control system offers customers the ability to monitor PV or wind installation performance from a remote location using either an Ethernet/Internet connection or mobile phone technology. Plant performance information such as energy harvesting, power, voltage and current data is available in real-time. Users will benefit from this control unit's very high speed updates. Its modular design allows for future expansion with further features created using add-on modules. You can link up to 128 devices with the Easy Control system using RS485 communication port data. Solstice, Satcon's new distributed energy management system for commercial scale Photovoltaics, is engineered from the ground up to provide full control over every component in a PV array-from a single string, to the inverter, to power delivered to the grid. Rated to supply 100 kW of maximum continuous output power at 208, 240 or 480 VAC (3 phase), the Solstice system offers the unique feature of converting DC power generated by each string using MPPT technology at the combiner box level. The MPPT DC-DC conversion at the combiner box steps the voltage upto 575 VDC, allowing for fewer power losses, minimizing array mismatches and maximizing system energy harvest. The result is higher system yield versus conventional commercial inverters. Subcombiner boxes accept 9 (2.9 kW) strings and SolsticeT includes 4 subcombiners as standard. Offering total system monitoring, diagnostics and control, Solstice is FIT compliant and CSA certified.

OutBack inverters offer a list of innovations versus competing products. With improved inverter reliability using next generation power technology, they also make their inverters modular so systems could be stacked in any configuration and are easily expanded to build systems up to 36 kW of total power. OutBack offers fully sealed models in both 24 and 48 V, with 500 watts more power than the original FX series. With an all-aluminum chassis, conformal coated circuit boards and a gasketed design, the inverter is fully protected from some of the major causes of inverter failure: corrosion and insects.

The modular design allows OutBack Inverters to be stacked in either series (120 VAC) or parallel (120/ 240 VAC), or even three phase (120/ 208 VAC) and up to 8 inverters may be stacked in a single system. OutBack inverters can be used for on grid or off-grid renewable energy systems, back-up power and vehicle applications.
