Solstice, Satcon's new distributed energy management system for commercial scale Photovoltaics, is engineered from the ground up to provide full control over every component in a PV array-from a single string, to the inverter, to power delivered to the grid. Rated to supply 100 kW of maximum continuous output power at 208, 240 or 480 VAC (3 phase), the Solstice system offers the unique feature of converting DC power generated by each string using MPPT technology at the combiner box level. The MPPT DC-DC conversion at the combiner box steps the voltage upto 575 VDC, allowing for fewer power losses, minimizing array mismatches and maximizing system energy harvest. The result is higher system yield versus conventional commercial inverters. Subcombiner boxes accept 9 (2.9 kW) strings and SolsticeT includes 4 subcombiners as standard. Offering total system monitoring, diagnostics and control, Solstice is FIT compliant and CSA certified.

T240 Transformer
| The T240 is a 4.5 kVA transformer providing 240 VAC from a single inverter. The transformer can step up from 120 VAC to 240 VAC or the reverse - turning 240 VAC into 120 VAC allowing the full output of a 240 VAC generator to be used by 120 VAC appliances. The T240 can also be used as balancing transformer allowing a single 120 VAC inverter to be connected to a generator which has 240 VAC output. OutBack offers fully sealed models in both 24 and 48 V, with 500 watts more power than the original FX series. With an all-aluminum chassis, conformal coated circuit boards and a gasketed design, the inverter is fully protected from some of the major causes of inverter failure: corrosion and insects.
The modular design allows OutBack Inverters to be stacked in either series (120 VAC) or parallel (120/ 240 VAC), or even three phase (120/ 208 VAC) and up to 8 inverters may be stacked in a single system. OutBack inverters can be used for on grid or off-grid renewable energy systems, back-up power and vehicle applications.

Stacking Magnum Inverters
Magnum "MS Series" inverters are stackable providing up to 17.6 KVA of continuous power. Panels can be configured to accommodate from one to four inverters with two separate enclosures for AC and DC connections. These white powder-coated panels include main DC and AC breaker, DC shunt, and inverter AC input protection.

These extremely scalable modular inverter systems, based on 55 kW conversion modules, increase usable power and improve availability. The reduction of performance in any individual inverter will not impact the energy-harvesting capabilities of other modules. The product is available with and without an isolation transformer. Industry-leading power conversion efficiencies of up to 98% (-TL), combined with high-speed Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) channels, optimize energy harvesting across a wide array of operating conditions. Inverter systems are delivered pre-configured and pre-tested in rugged enclosures, significantly reducing on-site wiring and testing. In case of ungrounded application the unit can be configured as single or multiple MPPT (with exception of PVI-Central-50 & PVI-55.0/-TL).
