Inside Technical Sales Representative Pointe Claire, QC

Our Inside Technical Sales Representative is an integral position within the Sales Department ensuring consistent contact with our existing Dealer network and builds new business opportunities.
Strong, self-motivating candidates for this position will possess an electrical products background with 1- 2 years’ sales experience in a related industry. In addition, excellent sales, lead qualification, and proven client relationship skills are required.  A background in effective cold calling on and interacting with small business owners and technical staff in a highly competitive environment is essential.


  • Consistent communications with our existing, independent customer network
  • Growing the sales volume of the existing customer base and opening new accounts by communicating regularly with specific customer groups and prospects
  • Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products
  • Providing product and complete power systems quotations
  • Providing technical and system’s application support
  • Provide timely and informative market feedback to the sales group 
  • Requirements:
  • Fully bilingual, written and oral in French/English
  • At least two years of inside sales experience utilizing the telephone as a primary, outbound business tool.  Preference will be given to candidates with renewable energy or electrical wholesale industry experience.
  • Previous experience with MSAccess database, ERP and/or CRM software is a definite asset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism (external and internal situations)
  • Excellent time management skills focused on the coordination of multiple sales activities
  • Education/Certification Requirements:
  • Post secondary degree (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering are definite assets

Sales Representative- Energy Efficiency Products Pointe Claire, QC

Products include:
MatrixAir™ solar air heating and ventilation systems; Novitherm™ heat reflector; photovoltaic systems (for commercial applications) for commercial, industrial and institutional markets.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, goal-oriented, team player that is motivated by the sales engineering process and that is committed to a diverse work environment.
Minimum requirements:

      • Proven sales success and experience in the HVAC or building products industry
      • Familiarity with solar thermal and/or remote power systems
      • Fluently bilingual in French and English, both written and oral
      • Mobility, without travel restrictions
      • Knowledge of AutoCad, Solidworks, MSOffice programs

A.        Responsibilities include:
Market Development:

      • To solicit representatives, distributors/dealers and end users in the Canadian,  United States, Europeon markets
      • Meeting directly and indirectly with various potential representatives and clients including solar energy or energy efficiency companies, engineers, architects, building owners, energy service companies, building managers, and general contractors to introduce them to and market our solar thermal and energy efficiency solutions.
      • Prepare and present energy savings and cost analyses; and quotations
      • Manage and motivate the existing Dealer distribution network.

Secondary responsibilities:

      • Maintain up to date customer contact information
      • Liaise with suppliers and clients to ensure efficient, problem-free project installation in conjunction with the Project Manager.
      • Support customer requests for technical assistance as required.
      • Representation at various industry events, trade shows etc.
